REMOVING THISTLES FROM LEVEE TRAIL. Jerry's work beautifying the Hamilton Levee on the NE side inspired me to tackle the invasive Star Thistle springing up all along the cinder block wall. This plant arrived a couple years ago and this season is found all along the 1+ mile long levee wall. So today I pulled every thistle along the mile-long levee wall, packed them into a plastic bag and deposited the plant and seeds into a green can, away from the levee. If anyone sees more thistles sprouting up, or showing its bright yellow flowers guarded by sharp thorns, please pull it out by the root and remove from fertile ground. (Use your shoe to push the plant to one side, exposing root without thorns.) Deposit into one of the garbage cans along the levee, if possible, or a green can at home. Thank you. In case you aren't aware, Hamilton Field has extensive historical significance and is designated a Historic District on the National Register. To learn more about Hamilton's history, pay a visit to one of the original buildings, the Hamilton Field History Museum, which is located on Hangar Ave.

In purchasing your Hamilton home, you have become a member of the Hamilton Field of Marin Owners Association. The Association is managed by a Board of Directors elected every three years by homeowners. The Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing the existing Covenants Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs) and Bylaws. These documents and the Association's annual operating budget should have been supplied to you prior to closing. In addition, each neighborhood has an Architectural Committee whose responsibility is to ensure the original design of each neighborhood is maintained.

Information from Whistlestop Regarding Coronovirus
In light of recent COVID-19 health concerns, I wanted to take a moment to advise you of the proactive measures Whistlestop has taken to address the issues:
 
Transportation Actions
1.       We will produce an internal video for drivers on how to properly perform a thorough contact cleaning of a vehicle.
a.       This video will be emailed to all drivers. In addition, it will play in the driver break room and will be available for all employees. Driver supervisors will make sure every driver watches the video.
2.       Drivers—in addition to their standard pre and post-trip procedures:
a.       Wipe down the cockpit area, hand rails and all around the seats three times per driver per day; start of shift, lunch, end of shift.
       i.      Sign-off with date and time at each cleaning.
b.      Set air circulation within the vehicles set to ‘outside’ air, and the same can be done if driver needs to run the A/C.
c.       Check their vehicles for hand-sanitizer, disinfectant wipes and gloves at the start of their shift and replenish as needed.
  1. Report to client, center, PCA, home or caregiver if they see a client is visibly ill (i.e. coughing, sneezing, flu-like symptoms)
3.       Facilities will:
a.       Outfit each vehicle with hand-sanitizer, disinfectant wipes and gloves. Driver supervisors and road supervisors will have supplies of each for replenishment as needed.
b.      Distribute and post information/flyers regarding frequent hand washing & other health tips.
  1. Distribute hand-sanitizing units to staff working in Jordan and Tamalpais.
  2. Wipe down with sanitizer or bleach the door knobs/handles throughout the building several times a day. This will be recorded with signature, date and time.
  3. Keep breakroom stocked with hand sanitizer and tissue.
4.       At the All Hands meeting on 3/26/20, Safety and Training will discuss our measures and the drivers’ importance in protecting our riders, employees and themselves.
